Returns & Exchanges
Every piece in the Leonidas Collection carries its own history, and we want you to feel entirely confident bringing one home. Please review the terms below before purchasing, as they apply to all orders.
Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery. This window cannot be extended.
Condition Requirements
To qualify for return, an item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact condition it was received, with all original tags and packaging intact. Items showing any sign of wear, use, odor, pet hair, soiling, or alteration will be refused on return and shipped back to you at your expense.
Heirloom Character & Disclosed Imperfections
Our antique and vintage items are refurbished pieces with genuine age, and each carries natural marks of its history. Wear consistent with age, color variance, foundation repairs, fringe restoration, minor pile loss, and similar characteristics are part of an heirloom rug's character, not defects. Where present, these characteristics are disclosed in the product listing prior to purchase.
Because these characteristics are disclosed before you buy, they are not eligible grounds for return as damaged, defective, or misrepresented. If you have questions about a specific rug's condition, contact us before ordering.
How to Request a Return
Email hello@leonidascollection.com with your order number within 3 days of delivery. We'll issue a return authorization and instructions. Items shipped back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted. Once authorized, your return must be in the mail within 2 business days.
Refunds & Fees
- Original and return shipping costs are deducted from your refund.
- A 4% payment processing fee is deducted from all refunds and is non-recoverable to us.
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply at our discretion.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we'll confirm whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method or as store credit, and may take 5–7 business days to post depending on your bank.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your rug immediately upon arrival. If an item arrives with damage or an issue beyond what was disclosed in its listing, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours at returns@leonidascollection.com with photos so we can make it right. Characteristics disclosed prior to purchase, as described above, do not qualify as damage or defect.
Final Sale Items
The following are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Sale items (either reduced pricing or purchased using a discount code)
- Gift cards
- Custom, made-to-order, or personalized pieces
- Custom-cut or custom-sized rug pads, and any pad not purchased alongside a rug
- Wholesale and Trade Program purchases (see our Trade Program terms)
- Orders shipped outside the contiguous United States
International Orders
Due to the nature of international shipping, all international sales are final.
